No1. Martin Place

Today a graceful blend of past and present, No.1 Martin Place is one of the city’s most famous buildings and under the watchful eye of Charter Hall recently underwent a facelift on levels 18, 19 & 20, creating a dynamic, sustainable space for its employees.

More than just a functional space the fit-out needed to be engaging, warm, and welcoming enough to entice post-pandemic employees back to the office again. It also had to enhance a sense of connection and collaboration while being carried out in the most sustainable way.

The end result, a beautifully executed open lounge, kitchen and meeting room space that ticks all the boxes. Aston Consulting together with Jadecross chose a selection of Flex pendants and Flex surface mounted luminaires. Designed to be mounted above the slatted ceiling and sitting flush with the ceiling structure the luminaires “disappear”, allowing the space to speak for itself while providing perfect low glare illumination.
