Atlassian is a Sydney born, global software enterprise supporting teams across a range of business functions from HR to IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Legal. The Atlassian Sydney office fitout was a collaboration of stakeholders bringing together design and technology within a modern workplace design framework. Working alongside the Atlassian team, CBRE, Siren Design, Aston Consulting, Hunter Mason, and EDV, Jadecross delivered a lighting scheme aimed at reinforcing the client brief of a comfortable space for employees to work, collaborate and relax.

Following a brief from greenwall specialists Junglefy on plant species to be used, Jadecross worked with Aston Consulting to specify a scheme which would illuminate lift lobbies, reception, and breakout areas with precise vertical and horizontal illumination. Key specifications were colour spectrum, colour temperature, colour rendering, light intensity and minimum/average lux levels, specific to the combination of layered hard and green surfaces throughout.

Atlassian / Siren Design was awarded a Gold design award at the Sydney Design Awards under the Interior Design – Corporate & Commercial category.

This award celebrates innovative and creative building interiors, with consideration given to space creation and planning, furnishings, finishes, aesthetic presentation and functionality. Consideration also given to space allocation, traffic flow, building services, lighting, fixtures, flooring, colours, furnishings and surface finishes.
